Quality and Acceptance Expert Full Time

Detailed Description 

We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Quality and Acceptance Expert within the Technology Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Reporting to the Manager, Quality and Acceptance and Head of Network Deployment, the expert will help to create a culture that helps the organization to be committed to quality, manage acceptance processes of service and products.

The expert will also be responsible for creating and following policies and procedures to meet the project’s defined quality and acceptance standards. Also create measurable quality metrics and makes quality countable.

Job Responsibilities

• Establish and manage processes with audits and prevention.
• Establish and manage process and methods of inspection and verification of the deliverables.
• Arrange and organize to make sure what quality policies, procedures, tools, techniques, and templates will be used and followed by projects.
• Make sure industry quality standards, specific governmental, legal, or regulatory constraints are taken into consideration during planning and conducting of quality management.
• Identify quality requirements and/or standards for the project and its deliverables and documenting that, how the project will demonstrate compliance with quality requirements and/or standards.
• Output reports on quality metrics of projects how projects compliance with set quality and standards.
• Monitor and record the results of executing the quality management activities to assess performance and ensure the project outputs are complete, correct, and meet requirements.
• Use all possible industrial tools and techniques during quality planning, managing, and controlling.
• Create acceptance requirements along with processes, timelines as well as needed checklist with identification of severities.

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
• At least more than three years of related experience.
• Advanced Degrees is an advantage.
• Six Sigma Certification is an advantage.
• PMP Certification is an advantage.
• Proven work experience with operators, vendors, and subcontractors is an advantage

• Excellent MS Office skills
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
