Ethiopian Airline wants to recruit employees in the following vacant positions the details of which are mentioned below.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates training of all team members in the proper performance of all job duties and thereafter ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
• Assists in the overall food production and presentation, according to recipes and specifications.
• Works to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen at all times.
• Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, performing all job duties in the safest possible manner, and immediately notifying the immediate supervisor if a personal accident occurred.
• Ensures thorough communication between shifts in all food service operations.
• Schedule Culinary staff, balancing labor costs and skills.
• Coach, mentor, train, and lead kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence in food.
• Ensure foods are prepared in accordance with ESH standards for quality, freshness, consistency, and timelines.
• Experience in analyzing inventory vs. ordering needs. Maintain appropriate stock levels of foods as order volume dictates.
• Drives service initiatives.
• Assume duties in absence of the Executive Sous Chef
• Under direction of the Executive Sous Chef, supervises cooks and oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food and labor cost
• Use refined Culinary knowledge – i.e., prepare sauces, etc.
• Other duties as directed by the Executive Sous Chef in order to run smooth operations.

• POSITION: Chef De Partie-Asian Cuisine
• EMPLOYMENT: Full Time
• A minimum of Level II Certificate in Food preparation/Kitchen Operation/Foreign Dish cooking/ or any related field of study from recognized TVET/College/Institute with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or similar role in related capacity in culinary division
• Excellent and proficient oral and written English communication skills. Chinese language is a plus.
•  Good communication skills and committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
•  Must understand how to price menu’s and assist with budgeting
